Findings from the Global Business of Forced Labour project gain national and international media coverage
Findings from the Global Business of Forced Labour project have gained national and international media coverage, following the launch of the project report on Thursday 31st May 2018.
As well as an exclusive Thomson Reuters Foundation story, the project’s findings were reported in the UK’s Mail Online, Church Times, and by the European news agency, PressText. The study also attracted attention around the world, with newspapers in Nepal and Qatar running the Thomson Reuters piece, and in industry media outlets, such as Confectionery News, Modern Farmer and Supply Management.
Finally, the University of Sheffield featured an in-depth article on the Global Business of Forced Labour project, “A cuppa reality: the truth behind your brew”, which explores the study’s key findings and includes an interview with Professor LeBaron.
