British Academy and DFID Funding to Support New Research to Tackle Modern Slavery.

A team led by Professor Andrew Crane at the University of Bath School of Management has been awarded funding by British Academy and the UK Department for International Development for a new project ‘Combatting Modern Slavery Through Business Leadership at the Bottom of the Supply Chain’.

Professor Crane, Genevieve LeBaron (University of Sheffield), Laura Spence (Royal Holloway, University of London), Michael Bloomfield (University of Bath) and Vivek Soundararajan (University of Birmingham) have designed an innovative large-scale academic research project exploring business relationships in the sub-tiers of global supply chains.
